Sweet Taylor, first I am sorry you have to go through this, it's the hardest thing you will ever do. I know for I am a 3 year survivor of breast cancer. I was 30 when I got the news, not as young as you, but still young. Know that I am praying for you, and this is your journey as it was mine. I want you to know that it's okay to have a bad day and to be upset, but then you need to look forward. When your hair growes back it will be so soft you can't believe it!! And, believe it or not it feels weird to have hair again. Take care, hang in, and never give up. From one survivor to another. Lia

Dear Taylor, I just now visited your website for the first time. YOU are such an inspiration. YOU are such a tough little cookie. I am so very proud of your strength. You are enduring alot and improvements are already evident. We miss you in class. The students are missing you but we know that you are doing what you need to do to get better. Keep hanging in there, focusing on your health. You have so much to look forward to, acting and playing, riding your horse, and playing with your friends. Keep your courage and your faith. There are so many people out there supporting you, as we are, back here at school. You take good care. We love you and we miss you. See you when you are up to seeing us. Mrs. Crossett

While in surgery, she had many strokes. It slurred her speech, and she couldn't write, walk, or type on the computer for about an year. With all of the prayers she somehow survived. We all think it was God, becasue she was loved so much, I hope God does the same too you. Hope you get better soon, and my God be with you. Be strong. With Love and prayers, Myhorse1/ Brianna

We will keep working. You would think that an old lady like me would just stay home in the kitchen and bake cookies!!! Guess you have had some pretty hard days recently. I know it was a super long marathon day and you had to deal with a lot with accessing your port and all the drugs, but you were such a trooper and you never complained. And I know it's hard to have your hair come out like it is, but you're dealing with it really, really well. I'm always amazed by your strength and ability to just roll with the punches and do what needs to be done. I'm so sorry you haven't felt well the past three days, but I'm hoping that you'll be feeling better tomorrow and will be able to go to school and enjoy yourself a little. I'm really looking forward to going to your Day of Champions on Saturday and I'm hoping and praying that you'll be feeling great and will be able to experience each and every minute of it! Dana and I remember well when we all went sailing on SD Bay and you just about spent all day with that orange life vest on ... including a swim at the harbor. Have you seen the DVD I sent? Hi Taylor: Heard you wern't feelling too well yesterday. I am so sorry. Hope it got better and that you were able to continue with your chemo on schedule. Our weather has been warm and nice-tho windy-this Spring. Hope the sunshine continues. Carl is flying in from Oregon tomorrow. It has been really cold there all Spring, so he is looking forward to coming home here. I am not sure where home is any more as I feel equally at home in Oregon and here. Will see you on the 19th if the Lord sees fit that I get to California. Carl leaves on the 14th again, and then I will go to San Bernadino to my friend Ann's on Friday the 16th. when she returns to work on the 19th, I will drive down to you. Your Mommy needs to tell me which motel is closest to you tho, so I can make a reservation for that night. Blessings from the angels, from God, and from us to you. Hugs, Jackie

Hi Taylor, Glad to hear you made it home this weekend and were able to go to Clayton's Birthday Party! I definitely will be at the Fundraiser on the 19th with Robin. You are doing great and I suggest you just think of these little events as bumps in the road to recovery! Hugs and Love, Brenda T.

Hi Taylor, Thank you for posting the pictures of you in the hospital in your journal. We can read about your experiences, yet seeing the pictures makes it so much real for others to know what you are going through. It is hard to see anyone in the hospital, especially a young girl who has been so active. You are a brave girl, but more importantly a special girl to share this with all of us. I know it will help others in your situation, young or old. You are a role model for many! Your spirits sound high: keep them up for yourself and for all those you touch! FOR DEBBIE: YOU ARE DOING A WONDERFUL JOB TAKING CARE AND TAKING CHARGE OF TAYLOR'S WELL BEING AND HEALTH. I HAVE LEARNED THAT WE NEED TO BE SOOOOOO PRO ACTIVE WITH OUR OWN HEALTH CARE. HOORAY FOR YOU AS HER MOM!!!!

Hi Taylor: How are you? We are praying for you every night. I had such a great time when we came to visit a while back, especially driving the golf cart!! It was a sad day today. We had to put Sassy out to pasture. It was so sad, I had a hard time getting to sleep last night thinking about it. Well I hope to see you soon. Love Hauna

Dear Taylor, I am Mary Alice Mallen, across the fence in back of your house. We did not know that you were sick until about a week ago. Talked with your Mom last evening when she helped us get a horse under control. Nice to hear that you have two prayer quilts. I had been wondering if you would like one and then found out you already have two. I work on prayer quilts with Ramona Lutheran. What a neat idea to have some that are not tied and have your friends tie and pray as they come to see you. We are praying for you each and every day. Pat and Mary Alice Mallen

Happy Day baby! I can't believe that your PET scan showed that there are NO MORE active nodes! Woohoo! Now we just have to protect the rest of your cells and make sure there are no more baby cancer cells lurking. No sweat, right? I can't believe how brave you are and how wonderful your attitude is. You are truly an inspiration to so many people. I'm so glad you had fun on your field trip and learned all about marine life. I wish I could have gone with you. And now tomorrow we get to go pick up grandma. That should be fun. Keep your chin up and keep fighting, Buggy. You're winning this battle! I love you! Mom Mom...(your Mom took Musahda to Sport Horse Championship and made me proud there too!)
