MessageSweet Taylor, first I am sorry you have to go through this, it's the hardest thing you will ever do. I know for I am a 3 year survivor of breast cancer. I was 30 when I got the news,not as young as you, but still young. Know that I am praying for you, and this is your journey as it was mine. I want you to know that it's okay to have a bad day and to be upset, but then you need to look forward. When your hair growes back it will be so soft you can't believe it!! I remember you as a little baby and when I see you at shows it amazes me at how much you've become a little lady.I am so sorry to hear that your having to go through this. My husband had to go through chemo as well and I know that it's probally going to be one of the most difficult things that you ever have to go through. MessageTaylor it's Myhorse1 off of howrse.com, my real name is Brianna. When I was about 7 years old my grandma was diagnosed with cancer (about 4 years ago). My grandma is a survivor. While in surgery, she had many strokes. It slurred her speech, and she couldn't write, walk, or type on the computer for about an year. With all of the prayers she somehow survived. We all think it was God, becasue she was loved so much, I hope God does the same too you. Hope you get better soon, and my God be with you. Be strong. And Yvonne rode Amigo. I am trying so hard to get Rosie to be comfortable out there, but she just gets so anxious!! She is much better than she was, but not a pleasure to ride out on trail. We will keep working. You would think that an old lady like me would just stay home in the kitchen and bake cookies!!! Guess you have had some pretty hard days recently. MessageHey baby girl! I just wanted to tell you how very proud I am of you for how you handled your chemo yesterday. I know it was a super long marathon day and you had to deal with a lot with accessing your port and all the drugs, but you were such a trooper and you never complained. And I know it's hard to have your hair come out like it is, but you're dealing with it really, really well. I'm always amazed by your strength and ability to just roll with the punches and do what needs to be done. I'm so sorry you haven't felt well the past three days, but I'm hoping that you'll be feeling better tomorrow and will be able to go to school and enjoy yourself a little. This is extra great because I grew up in French speaking Switzerland (until returning for university) and my aging Mother still lives in Vevey on Lake Geneva si I get to see her too. Dana and I remember well when we all went sailing on SD Bay and you just about spent all day with that orange life vest on ... including a swim at the harbor. Have you seen the DVD I sent? It has been really cold there all Spring, so he is looking forward to coming home here. I am not sure where home is any more as I feel equally at home in Oregon and here. We can read about your experiences, yet seeing the pictures makes it so much real for others to know what you are going through. It is hard to see anyone in the hospital, especially a young girl who has been so active. You are a brave girl, but more importantly a special girl to share this with all of us. Hopefully, the frost is over and spring is really, really here. Hurley, the J.R. is snoring at my feet and JP is outside chasing the ravens. Yesterday we saw 6 javelina's in the lower pasture. MessageDear Taylor, I am Mary Alice Mallen, across the fence in back of your house. We did not know that you were sick until about a week ago. Talked with your Mom last evening when she helped us get a horse under control. Nice to hear that you have two prayer quilts. I had been wondering if you would like one and then found out you already have two. I work on prayer quilts with Ramona Lutheran.
