Financial Assistance:

American Cancer Society - Extensive state by state insurance assistance links, a guide to helping with financial problems, and other resources available through state and national agencies.

Candlelighter's Childhood Cancer Foundation - Financial assistance links as well as other support links, upcoming events, advocacy, and treatment resources for families affected by childhood cancer.

Children's Cancer Center - Great kids site with links for financial assistance, great games and puzzles for kids, programs for mental, physical, and financial health for families with cancer kids, and even uplifting videos of what they've accomplished.

Cops Care Cancer Foundation - Travel and financial assistance for families in treatment. Preference given to children of police officers, but all kids considered for financial aid.

Financial Help Directory - Extensive list of financial aid for all types of locations and situations.

I'm Too Young For This - Comprehensive list of financial aid resources for pediatric patients, though the main site has a lot of great information for young adults dealing with cancer with tons of helpful links of all types.

Insure Kids Now - U.S Dept. of Health and Human Services site with extensive state by state information on insurance and related programs available.

Keeptrying.com - An extensive list of transplant, financial, informational, and foundation sites related to cancer.

National Cancer Institute - Extensive listing of governmental and private financial aid, global outreach projects, and insurance assistance.

National Children's Cancer Society - A great resource listing family services including scholarships, direct financial assistance, publications, global outreach, as well as special events and corporate partner listings.

Osteosarcoma Online - Primary site is related to osteosarcoma, but has a page with extensive links to financial assistance and support programs for cancers of all types including links for scholarships, survivors, and fertility clinics.

Rare Cancer Alliance - Excellent site containing information on governmental programs, travel, health, and medicine assistance, societies helping those afflicted with cancer, and private funds that may help  directly to the families.

 

Today's Caregiver - Extensive information site with a wide variety of available information including magazines, financial, educational, and support programs, cancer related items, newsletter, conference, and more.

 

Prescription Assistance:

 

Free Drug Card - Prescription drug discount card for those without insurance prescription coverage.

 

Partnership for Prescription Assistance - A site featuring a variety of drug prescription programs that patients may qualify for depending on their treatment.

 

Pfizer Assistance Programs - Programs available through the drug company Pfizer for reduced or free chemo and related drugs.

 

PS Card - Prescription drug discount card for those without insurance prescription coverage.

 

RX Outreach - Prescription drug assistance program for patients needing prescription help.

 

Sun Association - Prescription drug cards for both Medicare and non-Medicare patients.
